Cruden Bay, on the Aberdeenshire coast is has been rated in the Top 100 courses in the world for the past decade, and it is recognition for an outstanding links course.
The sand dunes at Cruden Bay may be the tallest of all the Scottish courses, yet the fairways wind their way through nicely providing a collection of interesting holes. The views from the 10th tee down the coast are reward for the difficult previous hole, yet when you get to the 15th, a slightly downhill, yet blind par three of 239 yards, trusting your swing becomes most important.
There is a shorter nine-hole course, which also has some nice holes and provides an ideal warm up to the main course. The Clubhouse is spacious and the staff provide a warm and generous Scottish welcome. Facilities:
